How to Use the Wheel of Life Tool
Step 1: Edit your 8 life domains Start by looking at the 8 boxes at the top. These are pre-filled with common life areas (Kids, Business, Health, etc.), but you can change them to match YOUR life. Click each box and type in the areas that actually take your time.
Step 2: Rate your TIME (left side) Move the left sliders to rate how much TIME each domain takes. 1 = barely any time, 10 = takes up most of your time. Be honest about what actually eats your hours.
Step 3: Rate your ENERGY (right side) Move the right sliders to rate how much ENERGY each domain drains or gives. 1 = completely drains you, 10 = energises and fulfils you. This is about how each area makes you FEEL, not the time.
Step 4: Look at your wheels Two wheels appear below showing your life's shape. The TIME wheel shows slice sizes based on your ratings. The ENERGY wheel shows colours: red = drains you, teal = energises you, grey = neutral. This is your visual story.
Step 5: Check the breakdown table Scroll down to see the exact percentages for each domain in the table. This makes it easy to read and compare which areas are taking the most time.
💡 Key insight: This tool isn't about judging yourself. It's about SEEING your reality clearly. Once you see where your time and energy go, you can decide where to set boundaries to feel better.
